Then respondents were selected from each CHC proportionately. Thus, a total of 300 respondents were selected for the present study. One of the objective was to assess effect of abortion on the individual who has availed the abortion service.Present study on post abortion complications and its effect on the individual reflects that knowledge of complications is found sufficient in respondents but because of improper knowledge of contraceptives, abortion is used as means of contraception.Respondents suffering with abortion complications faced different types of individual problems which affect their lifestyle, causing serous health implications on females. In patriarchal society, they have to live with the family with becoming victims of sexualdysfunction, tobacco chewing, psychiatric illness, depression and anxiety.
